The therapy horses at Special Equestrians are an important part of our therapy team. They need to be comfortable with riders with variable levels of disabilities — and be unfazed by the various sights, sounds, and activities that take place during lessons.
Our horses are vital to the success of our program, and as such, receive the best care we can offer. On average, it costs over $45,000 each year to ensure our herd is well cared for and healthy.
Help give our horses everything they need to thrive by sponsoring a Special Equestrians therapy horse. Donations can be made as an annual gift or in quarterly or monthly increments. In recognition of your generous support, your name will be proudly engraved on a nameplate displayed on your sponsored horse’s stall and featured in our sponsorship recognition area within the barn. You’ll also receive a professional photo with your horse, taken by our staff photographer, which will be showcased on our sponsor webpage.
Sponsors are always welcome to visit their horse and see firsthand the difference their support makes in the lives of our riders. Each sponsorship lasts for one year, with the opportunity to renew annually and continue your special connection.
