Special Equestrians is very proud of our innovative Sensory Trail.
The pictures below show how our many community partners have contributed to the growth of the Trail.

Alec and Everett play the ball toss and ball drop games in the sensory trail
Jacob, Gwen, and Clare check out the new footing on the sensory trail We couldn't have done anything without the amazing help of so many group and individual volunteers who built, dug, weeded, planted, painted, and hammered for the cause. Thanks go out to Capmark, Centocor, Arcadia University, Gloria Dei, Holy Ghost Prep, Boy and Girl Scouts, and so many more.
Capmark volunteers enlarged the gardens in the sensory trail and painted the therapy room
Centocor volunteers painted barnyard animals and built a ball-drop game
Arcadia University volunteers weeded the entire facility and planted fall flowers
Holy Ghost Prep volunteers built a new raised flower bed
Nearly 100 volunteers from Comcast doubled the length of the trail, painted the new flower bed, and provided and planted beautiful bushes and flowers! |
